*fun family day*

Sorry it seems i have not posted in awhile, I will be getting back into the swing of things this week. Spring is coming, the sun is shining and it puts my creative mind in gear for sure! I will be posting some inspirational posts soon, all these colors for spring make me so happy! It has been a great couple months for us, this is the slow time for us and it is so great to catch up on things, and have fun family days! this last weekend we went with my fam for a ’shootin’ day! It was lots of fun!

♥ love is in the air ♥

I wanted to post this valentine inspired post. I love valentines day, not really for all the love notes you send to family and friends because I believe that you should tell everyone in your life ALL the time just how much you love them. But, rather I love valentines day because in all this winterness, with spring a bit away we have this month with red, pink, and really lovely colors and decorations to add to our homes and lives. AND who doesnt love a reason to bake cookies, cupcakes and of course eat chocolate!

I just got in the mail this week my new 100mm macro lens and was DYING to try it out! So I grabbed some valentine candies and snapped a few. I love it and cannot wait to try it out with a newborn!

::longing for sunshine::

The sun has been out the last few days, and that means that it is an absolute MUST that the kids get out and release all the bottled up energy that they have been storing and going wild with in the house. :) So we headed down to the park…

and played some hoop. Q and I did a little one on one game of PIG, and I might add that mom won! hee hee!

Had just a fun day with my cousin Elisa. I was hoping for sunshine, but instead we braved the sprinkles of rain. But, with all that needless to say we had fun, and she is gorgeous! I have tons of old things that my grandma has passed down to me in hopes that I would love to use them in my photo sessions, and excited I was! I have so many ideas for them, you will be seeing them soon! So just for fun we set off with a few of them….

We have had a bit of sunshine the last few days, after a long storm. So, we have been taking walks and getting things done outside. This picture was inspired by the sunshine, and it is just simply something I wish I had more time to do more of! There is nothing like a great book of wonderful people and the history they left behind. Now to only find that extra time! :)
