Had the great privilege of doing family pictures again for the wonderful W family! I feel so special to be able to capture each changing event in their family. I went to their home to capture Isabella turning two, and capture little mommas growing belly. It was such a gorgeous day, and got to play with the families horse. They have since had their new sweet little bundle, and that will be my next post!!

Ryan and Meg’s wedding day was beyond incredible! We traveled down to Orange county for this fabulous day, and it was a perfectly gorgeous sunny day! It was a intimate wedding in her parents backyard, that was full of vibrant colors and so many handmade details. The reception was held down the block at a neighbors home, with a lemonade stand along the way. so wonderful! You can see the joy and fun that was so celebrated that day, it is so amazing for me to be able to witness and be apart of such an occasion where God is honored and the love is so evident in all areas. And, because SOOO many are just dying to see this wedding, I posted a ton!!

first meeting
OH my it again has been too long since my last blog! This last month of May has completely overwhelmed me with busyness, weddings, school projects…you name it! And this last week my husband took a fall at work (from way high up) and pretty much scared me in a big way! It is something that is always a fear for me! But, the Lord protected him and I am so thankful that he was not hurt in a major permanent way! SO, I promise to catch up and post more, for reals this time.
This engagement session was such fun! Chris and I go way back, we were friends way back on the old block. Chris brought along his old skylark, and they came dressed for a perfect vintage shoot. It was SO much fun capturing you both, and the fun that you share together.
Had a fun time doing a short session with Dirk & Alissa while they were up here visiting. Dirk is my cousin and Alissa is the mastermind genius designer behind my incredible website. I owe her TONS and TONS! I am so glad that I got to capture this moment for them, before their sweet little guy arrives. They kept telling me they were awkward in front of a camera, and I just didnt get that….they rocked it! Alissa you are gorgeous! :) Cant wait to meet Caiden!!
Had so much fun being able to capture Joel&Alison’s wedding day. Joel is my cousin, and they both live on the east coast. They came all the way to celebrate with family and friends in Chico, and I had such a great time being able to capture them on a farm and in the orchard!

the first meeting
First off it has been WAY too long since my last post. I am alive and o.k. readers! Things have picked up and wedding season is here, AND I am just now getting sleep from the new puppy…yes, it is like a newborn! BUT, I do promise to keep up and have alot of things coming up.
This session was so incredibly exciting for me. I was asked to do a “secret” photo shoot by this family as a birthday present for their mom and wife. Of her two girls,DeAnna and Katie, what better gift could any mom ask for!? AND I am a HUGE sucker for surprises and secrets…hee hee! I cant wait to hear of her excitement!!
Also, you will be seeing DeAnna again soon for another photo shoot. She is a ballerina and we will be doing some artful ballet shots..cant wait!
